I love storytelling. As a kid, I would write new versions of my favorite Saturday Night Live sketches for my friends. As an adult, I have written for blogs, websites, a book, and stages around New York City. And then I figured out how to do the same thing—tell meaningful stories—for brands.
I have spent 15+ years working on behalf of brands like Pepsi, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Dove, Twitter, Dove Men+Care, Green Mountain Coffee, Milkbone, and Furby, and creatively and strategically consulting at Twitter for brands like Bud Light, Nike, Lowe’s, Airbnb, American Express, Target, Call of Duty, Mastercard, T-Mobile, Salesforce, and more.
I’m an experienced manager (and manager of managers) who is passionate about helping people develop their skill sets and grow in their careers. I lead with empathy, listening, and curiosity and am often sought out by colleagues for collaboration and feedback.
I am a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and compelling storyteller. I have taught brainstorming to a creative agency, designed a case study creation curriculum and rolled it out to a global organization, and built materials to educate cross-functional teams on ways of working with strategy and creative teams.
I pride myself on being a beloved teammate, a clear communicator, and a supportive manager.
I love my wife, my son, when the right song hits at just the right time, sketch comedy, the Headspace app, writing, and that moment in sports when a team cuts into the lead and is just on the cusp of going ahead.
Oh, and the New York Times once referred to me in print as a “particularly frustrated Mets fan.” I don’t think they were wrong at the time.
