Personal Projects

Here are some things I've worked on. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

"We're All Gonna Be Billionaires"

Three criminals plan to rob the International Global National Bank in the biggest and most daring heist of all time, and they'll need the skills of everyone in the audience to pull it off.

This was a show I co-wrote and co-starred in with my friends Aaron and Steve, performed at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York.

New York Mets: End the Kiss Cam “Joke”

I lobbied the New York Mets to end a homophobic kiss cam joke. Starting with putting together a Storify to document the problem.

The next year, they became the first New York sports team to host LGBTQ night.

I went on SiriusXM's "The Outfield" with Eddie Robinson to talk about it all

Storytelling at the Moth

I love storytelling and I've told stories at storytelling events around New York, including The Moth.

The story I'm telling in the moment captured here is about the ways in which you assume what your adventures are going to be, only to find that the great ones tend to not be where you think.

And it's also about Stephen Colbert, minivans, religion, vomit, and theme parks.

Let's Get the Mets a Hitter!

I love the Mets and they needed a hitter. And then reports came in that the Mets wouldn't pay 2 to 3 million dollars to acquire a hitter before the trade deadline. So since their owners lost a lot of money in a Ponzi scheme, I stepped up to do what's right: fundraise 3 million dollars to give to the New York Mets so they can get what they need most: a guy who can hit in the middle of the order.

This campaign ended up in Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, Yahoo!'s homepage, and the MLB Network, to name a few. Later that week the Mets traded for two players whose salaries totaled... about 3 million dollars.
